Expanded Education
SOCM will teach both chidren and families the connection to history and politics and what it means to their day to day living. We will teach how to use available resources to improve quality of life. Guest speakers will be invited to educate on various topics.
Feeding Initiatives
SOCM will provide free food to communities to assist families with providing basic needs. We believe that unless children are at least fed, it is unrealistic to expect them to learn or to see the value in learning.

Parenting Assistance
SOCM will move to improve families' situations by providing parents with educational workshops and financial education. We will identify volunteer community advocates to act as natural supports who can assist parents with communicating with the school and legal system on behalf of a child. SOCM will also have events to gather clothing and school supplies and other items as needs are identified.
Advocacy
SOCM will move to increase minority (ethnic and socioeconomic) involvement and advocacy in the political system and social issues. Our goal is to keep the communities informed on issues directly affecting them as well as local governmental decisions. We will encourage attendance at City Hall meetings and informed voting. We will NOT support, endorse or campaign for any political party or candidate.
Unity Events
SOCM will plan and schedule activities that encourage relationship building among our children and adolescents. Activities and field trips will be used to improve self and community image and to expose participants to historical sites and regional cultures within the USA.
The Save Our Children Movement Inc. will increase our efforts with plans to have feeding initiatives, apprencticeship programs, advocacy, parenting assistance, unity events, and expanded education.
